Roddy Stainforth named head coach of Dixie Heights boys’ basketball team after 13 years as an assistant | NKyTribune

I'm glad to see Roddy get it. I hope he has great success.

Congratulations to Coach Stainforth! I am glad they recognized his loyalty to the program and school. He deserves this chance and I am sure he will do great things! Good luck Coach!!!

Congrats and well deserved. Best of luck to him and the program at Dixie.

Class individual and has much respect among softball coaches, I'm sure it is/will be the same with hoop coaches, good hire by Dixie.

Congrats to Roddy. Great guy and will do a great job. Very nice hire for Dixie.

It's good to see the young guys get a chance at a top notch program. There are a lot of opportunities at that school with open enrollment so I wish Roddy well. Will there be any animosity there with coach Shumate or was he even a candidate?

He is a good dude. Liked the way he handled his softball teams.

Congrats to a guy that paid his dues. Is he in the building all day, or a para-professional?

Roddy is one of the top educators in the school, teaches AP classes along with all the coaching he does. Stand up guy.
