I have heard from a reliable source that the job was offered to only 1 coach. Marshall Went for Birdsong from the jump. Regardless, why wouldnt you want a hometown hero to come back and take the program to the next level???? Terry Birdsong has won at everything and everywhere he has always been! I am proud to see the MC admin do what ever it took to get this one right!

Agree. They do have a very talented freshman group.

One thing the fans disliked what the style (tempo) of Coach Gus. Coach Birdsong's is not much different.
