10 pound pork shoulder, 13 hour overnight smoke, took off smoker and pulled it before leaving for church this morning. Who's hungry?

Looks good, do you sauce it any or just let it roll as is?

Gosh dang it's good! Rub it heavy and mop it during the smoke, pull it and let people use whatever sauce they want when they plate up.

For any of you familiar with Staxx BBQ in Frankfort, this came out much better than the pulled pork they do. I don't know what it is but I am not much of a fan of their pulled pork (as is the opinion of several others here in the office), and what I made was better than theirs by a good stretch.

I'm assuming you crushed it yesterday and there is none left?

looks good!

10 pounds? Not quite. Did take quiet a bit to a buddy's house and watched the UK game (immediately scarfed up) but saved some for my girlfriend to eat tonight since she wasn't around yesterday.

That's a good looking butt! :lol2:

From looking at the bark it appears that your new smoker is providing enough smoke without needing to add one of those pellet tubes. Enjoy!
