This post confirms you don't understand college basketball.

NKU, if they happened to win the Horizon, would get no better than a 13-14 seed. So you're putting Xavier in as a 3 or 4? :ohbrother:

Dont 4, 11 seeds play each other in the play in games? and 4, 16 seeds?

No. The last 4 at-large teams in play one another. Some years they're 11 seeds. Other years they've been 12's. Some year's one of the games is between 11 seeds and the other is 12 seeds.

Then also, the last 4 overall teams in (these teams are ones that are AQs) play in two other play-in games (these are 16 seeds).

If Xavier gets in, they may well play in the play-in game for the last 4 At-Large teams. They wouldn't be playing against a team like NKU though. If NKU got in, they very well could be playing in a play in game for the AQs, but it wouldn't be against Xavier.

So I'll ask you one more time.....Who is this "team no one has ever heard of" that is going to embarrass Xavier if they make it?

It doesn't necessarily have to be 11s or 12, but you are correct. However, the four 16-seeds that play each other are all conference winners. The four play-in participants in the 10/11/12 spots (wherever it falls) are required to be at-large teams.

Even if Xavier beats DePaul, I think they probably have to win more than one conference tournament game to be in. Regardless I don't see them getting anywhere.

They are awful. Their defense is comical, regardless of how they play it (last night, for the 1st time, they switched EVERY ball screen). If you run any action against them at all, you have open dudes all over the place.

When your senior night is 3 walk ons and two low level D1 transfers, you know what you have.

This team is bad. Now, would they be better with Ed? Of course. Still wouldn't be great. Back in the pre-season I said how overrated they were, you could see this coming.

X's D is SO BAD right now! You cannot give up 88 and 95 at home with your backs against the wall. I know Butler is on a nice roll and Marquette can flat out shoot it, but c'mon! Defense is just unacceptable.

When is the last time a team lost 6 games in a row in February/early March and made the Big Dance as an at-large team (not automatic qualifier)??? I cannot EVER remember that happening.
