Campbell County 46 Bishop Brossart 29

Lady Camels score the game's first ten points and cruise into the 37th District Championship game at 7pm on Thursday night vs Scott.

Camels Mackenzie Schwarber leads all scorers with 20. Clos - 8, Keeton - 7, Jackson - 3, Holbrook - 8.

Lady Stangs close out their season at 15-16 and graduate five seniors. Led in this game by Megan Seiter with 11 points. Seiter was named to the 37th District All-Tournament Team. Mariah Frommeyer added 8, Flaugher 5, Maria Seiter 4, Schultz 1.

Not sure Campbell County "cruised" into anything. The 17 point margin may have been the biggest lead of the game. The 10-0 run to start the game, meant a 13 point lead at halftime for Campbell.

That lead was cut to nine on a couple of occasions in the second half, including into the fourth quarter.

Won handily? Never really threatened? Is that better than "cruised". The lead was cut to 10 points for a possession or two. Other than that, the lead hovered around 13-16 most of the game. So, there was not a running clock, and the game was not a complete blowout. But, the game was not close either, and never in doubt.

I prefer the term "cake walk". :bunny:

The lead was at 9 mid 3rd qtr when Brossart missed 3's on 2 straight possessions that could've cut it to 6. The Camels had to work, but the 10-0 start made their night less difficult.

Congrats to the Camels and congrats to coach Bundy for getting the most out of his ladies. I think they performed very well as a team. Very undersized squad who lost a lot of talent last year, but ended up with a better record!

I am thrilled Lady Camels are moving on hopefully through the 10 region but I would say a nice looking 3 to cut lead to 3 points in second half was a "cake walk" nor was it a "cruise"

This Brossart team with 15 wins has to be proud of what they did - new kids for most part to varsity and new coach - agree with TAC - no size to speak of but appeared to be a great team together and hats off to them

Now Camels lets take it to the Eagles!

The lead was never cut to 3.

Didn't mean to start a maelstrom of controversy with my choice of words in describing the Camels win over our Lady Stangs.

During the course of the game, with the outcome unknown, our gals certainly made the Lady Camels work hard to maintain their advantage, but in retrospect with knowledge of the outcome and the score differentials throughout, that was the first word that popped into my aged mind.

No offense intended!

Down 9, Brossart got a nice looking three up from there best shooter. It went in and out. This was with 12 minutes left in the game. One shot from a good shooter makes it six with 12 to play. Is that never threatened? Won handily?
