Should this be considered the biggest upset thus far this post season?

 

I'd say if it wasn't for Dawson Springs winning against Hopkins Central, this could very well be the biggest. Dawson Springs lost twice to Hopkins soundly during the regular season.

Even though the Jackets came up short last night , I would like to commend Coach Botner and his boys on a very good season this year !!! I believe their 16 wins were the most in a season since the year 2000.. I think coach has the program moving in a positive direction .... also great season for the seniors and I hated to see it end for them last night , they are great kids and deserved a great senior season ...

If I'm not mistaken Camelman, it was you, after the district draw, stated, "So Nicholas and Pendleton will be the district's representatives in the 10th Region tournament?"

 

To answer your question, No they won't! It'll be Robertson Co. and Harrison Co.

What's great is... Robertson Co. beat Dawson Springs and Fulton Co. this year in their Christmas Tournament and ALL 3 of the teams are continuing to play in the postseason.

Coach Botner has done a great job, that's for sure! I enjoyed watching his team last night. I sat behind the Nicholas Co. bench, a few rows up, and I teared up watching Trent Letcher come to the bench after fouling out. You could see the frustration and passion for basketball on his face!

Congrats to Coach Kelsch and the Black Devils. That's why you play the games....

Great job Black Devils. Patrick and his team have really worked their tails off this season and it's paying off at the right time. I have a renewed intro in the outcome of this district championship game. I know where I'll be Friday night. I'll be pulling for RCHS to win their first district title since 1988 if memory serves me.
