February 7, 20179 yr Watched it last week when it debuted, thought it was well done. I remember the XFL very well, I watched every snap of that opening Saturday Night Game, and a lot of the subsequent Saturday games throughout the season. Rod Smart, "He Hate Me", was a WKU grad, so he always had my attention, even into the NFL. The one shocking thing to me, in my memory the XFL lasted more than one season, not sure why I had thought that besides I watched a lot of it that season. The behind the scenes stuff with McMahon and Ebersol was very, very interesting. Also loved the present day dinner they had -- insightful stuff.
February 7, 20179 yr I forgot they had the epic power failure and the guy getting seriously hurt during the scramble for the ball "coin toss". I doubt that league would've made it to a 2nd season anyway but those 2 things sure didn't help.
