Inconvenienced. Families who are kept apart or who followed the process but now have it shoved back that it's now going to take even longer.

Inconvenienced.

Inconvienced or dead. They are so similar, I can see why you confuse the two. Loss of time, loss of life. What difference does it make. Your views are so far out there. You have no reguard for human life but bend over backwards to further the agenda of PC. That's why no-one who is sane can take your views serious. To do nothing to protect others is a cowardly act.

You don't think anyone takes his views "serious"?

You think he has no "reguard" for human life?

No, I don't.

That's a shame.

( shame) Not mine. Our protection should be job one, no grey area. Being worried about feelings and inconvenience, before safety is dangerous. It's one of the other. The world is an unfriendly, dangerous place outside of our culdesacs.

Are you serious? Hatz is one of our most respected posters. He's not outrageous, nor extreme. Many of us have high regard for his opinion, whether we agree or not. And we're all sane.

I don't see the world as black and white. I don't draw lines and close doors or my mind. I am always open to hear the other side and consider it. And I don't denigrate people if their view is different than mine.

I think war and death are horrible things, it's not my fault that a large capable segment of religion has declared war on the west. I had nothing to do with it and I've got enough sense to not invite someone who wants to kill me into my home. When has there ever been peace in the middle east? Their crazy, so crazy can stay home. Jesus, they strap bombs on themselves, wives, children... That's not normal. I don't want any part of that here killing anyone who has nothing to do with their conflict, jihad, caliphate, lunacy are whatever their reasons are. They value death, we value life. Can't get much farther apart than that. So for me, no caring about inconvience, feelings, any of that. For everyones safety it's black and white. Coming to America is a privilege not a right.

So you make no difference between terrorists and those that they terrorize?

Unless you have a magic wand and crystal ball to tell the difference, no. Their country their problem, harsh, I know. My family, my country comes first. If anyone cares enough to help get on a plane. You don't bring it home.

I simply cannot understand lumping those trying to escape from war and persecution with those that are attacking them.

This shakes me to my very core and I cannot imagine being someone who isn't bothered by it, who doesn't want to help those like him.

This is truly horrible, maybe Barry, Hillary, and John should have thought twice about arming, training, and financing radicals. Maybe destabilizing a country isn't the best idea. Maybe alot of Syrian blood is on the hands of the anointed ones, who now wants to cry for empathy about the situation they caused. Where was the outrage for our leaders doing this.

I'm sorry. I can't understand this way of thinking.

My upbringing doesn't allow me to walk by those in need. Love a stranger as thyself. As such, I will do what I can for those escaping war, tyranny and persecution.

I'll also remember that terrorists can be white and American, I.e., Timothy McVeigh. That won't stop me from loving and helping white Americas in need either.

We will just have to agree to disagree.

Okay. Since the past is the past, I'm interested in what we can do now to help.
