Your Top 16 now and will it change by Feb 11?

Featured Replies

Why wait until Feb 11? Who are your Top 16 now and do you think it will change by Feb 11? If so, how?

(BTW the Women get rankings of the Top 16 a total of 3 times. Wonder why it is different for them?)

I'm not going top 16 as I don't think there are 16 teams that are actually any good this year. To me there are 10 teams that can win the title: Villanova, Kansas, Baylor, Arizona, UCLA, North Carolina, Louisville, Kentucky, Butler, and Wisconsin. If you asked me to rank them right now I go Villanova, Kansas, Arizona, Kentucky, North Carolina, UCLA, Louisville, Baylor, Butler, Wisconsin. I don't think anyone outside of this list is really any good relative to the national level.

Right now:

1. Gonzaga

2. Villanova

3. Kansas

4. Baylor

5. Arizona

6. UCLA

7. North Carolina

8. Louisville

9. Kentucky

10. Florida State

11. Virginia

12. Wisconsin

13. Butler

14. West Virginia

15. Cincinnati

16. Notes Dame

1 Gonzaga

2 Villanova

3 Kansas

4 Arizona

5 Baylor

6 North Carolina

7 UCLA

8 Louisville

9 Florida State

10 Kentucky

11 Virginia

12 Oregon

13 West Virginia

14 Cincinnati

15 Wisconsin

16 Butler

@UKMustangFan what do you think of Gonzaga? You watch a lot more college basketball than I do, I'm not buying them at all.

If college basketball were the stock market I would be buying tons of stock in Arizona right now. They are flying WAY under the radar right now.

Zags are a tough team to figure because their schedule is backwards. Non-conference games are their toughest games.

Sounds like Kentucky

Not buying them.

You have to put them #1 right now though. I see them as they typical #1 seed upset in the Sweet Sixteen.

 We're about on the same page then.
