So i'm not a Simon Kenton fan but I want to put together the dream schedule for them. Its hard since they are in a 3 team district and are up near the border so there will be travel. I'm staying away from OH teams for the purpose of this thread. This is fairyland where I can force teams to play and have the right dates and such.

Scrimmage: Keep X on there. Done it a couple of times and its good for both.

Then we roll in this order i'm pretending the bye is right before the 2 district games.

That is an absolute murderer's row. I guess the only "Get-Healthy" games would be against Boone and Campbell. It would make them either A. A LOT tougher when it came to playoff time or B. fold up like a cheap suit.

I'd say that'd be a fine non-district slate to start with.

I can't believe that I'm defending him but here goes. All I read about on here is how SK never plays anybody and blah blah blah. The question arises as to who you would like your team to play and he says that he would like to see SK play the state's big boys. You guys then rag on him and say that he wouldn't like to see that happen. You have to start somewhere and win, lose, or draw I think we all agree that it would help SK if they stepped it up a bit. Give the guy credit for, at least, wanting to see it happen. While the thought that SK would win may be a tad bit deranged at this point, if they scheduled 2 or 3 of these teams year in and year out, we could all start seeing a little bit of a shift/balance in power. You never know. It has to happen first though.

 

I wasnt ragging on him. He's actually a friend of mine. was just giving him a lil crap is all. we all know SK has been scheduling much better than in the past. One day I would love to see them compete with those schools in louisville.
