Newport was unable to get it done defensively, and a few mishaps down the stretch cost them the game. The team will learn and get better from this game.

 

Grant County was relentlessly attacking the glass, and refused to be denied. They also hit 8 threes, McClure with 4 of them.

Grant County played very well and it was clear they wanted this game from the jump.
