Royals pull off a 1 point win at the fieldhouse in the murph classic. Royals jump out to a 28 to 6 lead at the end of 1 quarter. Followed by the Indians out scoring the royals 28-1 in the second.

Halftime it was the Indians 34, Royals 29.

In the 3rd the royals use a 17-0 run. At the end of 3 it was 50-47

3 huge runs in this game a 24-0 run by the royals, 36-3 run by the Indians, 17-0 run by the royals.

 

Levi Dunaway led the royals with 25 points and 4 steals.

Madison Central was led by Isaiah Cozart with 13 points, 18 rebounds, and 15 BLOCKS!!

Was this a "Royal Coaster" game?

Cozart had a triple double. 13 points, 18 rebounds and 15 blocks.

He is just a Sophomore. 15 blocks is very impressive.

Defiantly a tough loss for us, but as I have said all year, its the tough ones like this that will make us better. Four of the top 5 scorers are juniors or sophomores and Cozart is starting to figure out the offensive end a little more each game. He is also learning how to stay out of foul trouble, which for someone who can get double digit blocks a game, is very hard to do.

 

Back at it tonight against Bracken County:thumb:

I was thinking it was more than 15 blocks, but I didn't even start thinking about it until he had 5 or 6 already. He had great timing.

 

Odd game with all the runs back and forth. Good win for the Royals and nice night for the Coach Feldhaus.

Madison Central is 4-6 with a loss to Clark County. Nice win for Mason though, made some plays at the end to win it.

 

Glad to see them honor Coach Feldhause, SR. A true basketball legend Player, Coach, and leaving a family legacy of contributors at the same level.
