Neighbor's Dogs...

Featured Replies

I'm going out next week, and if I had to guess I'll be seeing the dogs again. I'm thinking about bringing the old sling shot(the thing is an absolute beast) or picking up some pepper spray.

I'm hesitant on the pepper spray though. I can't imagine it'll lure any deer to the area.

Do they confront you in the woods?

Paint ball gun would be my choice of weapon in this situation. Doesn't hurt the dog seriously and sends a colorful message back to the dog owner. :thumb:

Now that's a terrific idea
My guess is that if one charges and you fire at it and miss, it's going to work the same as that warning shot,

My guess is if you are hunting, fire at an animal 20 yards away and miss, you probably should be drinking beer by the fireplace….

My thought's as well, I was just referring to woodsrider's comment about if the dogs decide to charge you.

Not really. It happened along a drive way that's parallel to a tree line.
Then I wouldn't have shot them.
