Light snow looks to be possible early Sunday mainly north of I-64. A dusting to about .5" possible. Cincinnati/NKY may get upwards to around an inch before it turns into all rain by Sunday afternoon.

The models are going back and forth for now. That is to be expected this far out. The GFS had it shifting northward but the latest runs have it coming back south. We should start getting a good read by this weekend. One thing to note both the CFS and GFS are now showing some type of snow producing system for next week.

I'm also watching to the southwest of Kentucky. Arkansas in particular. Hopefully it won't reach here and also won't materialize there. I'm seeing an 1"+ of accumulating freezing rain there. That will cause major problems. This is the weekend of the 17th. No icing in Kentucky as of yet.

I thought I'd take a look at Christmas week. Talking about a roller-coaster ride. Some in Kentucky could see temps in single digits on Tuesday the 20th but by the 23rd temps back up in the high 40s. That possible artic breakout is amazing to look at. I'll post more this evening for everyone to look at.

As of this morning it looks like you should be ok for Tuesday. The GFS is showing the system taking a more northerly track. So for now little or no chance for snow with highs in Cleveland in the mid 30s. But it is showing rain. Hopefully you can get back before Tuesday evening. I'm looking at that at the moment. We could see thunderstorms, which some could be strong. These storms will be ahead of a cold air mass that is looking like it will come in time for another system to follow the first to bring us snow.

The weather for the Cleveland area has really changed. That area will now start receiving accumulating snow around Sunday by Friday morning they could have 14-16" total on the ground.

They could have 6-8" by Tuesday night.

I believe this is the system the GFS was showing coming through Kentucky earlier in the month. Looks like it is going north of us but parts of Kentucky looks to get some snow from it.
