If that was the intention...it most definitely backfired.

You have too remember that Bryan Station has a new Coach from Colorado that has probably been told that Central is forever away from Lexington. He is also used to being in some big programs that might be used to staying the night places. I think Station is on the rise but it's going to take some time. They are probably the 2nd from the bottom as far as ranking teams in Lexington this year. It's a good win for Central because Station has some nice athletes but I don't think the bus ride was that big of a deal. I just think Central is really good and Station has a lot of work to do still.

You're missing the whole point. I'm not saying the idea wasn't unusual or strange. My question the whole time has been: Do you think that the Defenders would have performed better if they had left from school today to play the game tonight?

I don't know that they would've played better, but they certainly would've saved a lot of money. Those were some nice buses.

Perhaps they were treating their journey to Paintsville as a field trip, or a vacation of some sort? They should've at least taken those boys to the Mountain Homeplace and let them take turns milking a real cow or something.

One of life's simple pleasures.

The intention is "most definitely" against KHSAA guidelines about leaving school early for a regular season game too?? Did these kids miss schooling on Friday?? As I understand the rule you can even leave school the day of the contest early:confused:

I'm not forsure on this ruling. But I think if Bryan Station didnt have school on friday then they were allowed to leave. That wouldnt make since of not having school on friday since all schools were closed monday for labor day.

Tommy Taylor had a great interception, Trey Belhasen had a takeaway interception in the 4th quarter. I'm not real certain on the stats, but that has to be around 7 or 8 picks for JC's defense.
