Final per the Scoreboard.

Panthers led at the end of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters but were outscored 25-12 in the 4th. Pretty physical game. Shout out to Thomas Mains for his defense on Trent Letcher, gave him fits all night. Unfortunately I don't have Nicholas' scoring. But even though the Panthers did lose I was very encouraged by their effort tonight. Better days are ahead.

Shoemaker 16, Cordle 14, Johnson 6, McElfresh 5, Laycock 3, Appelman 2, Mains 1, Reed 1

A-town is gonna win some games this season no doubt. Problem I see with the Panthers is once you cut off the head (Shoemaker) the rest of the body follows suit. I expect a multitude of junk defenses thrown at. Augusta this season.

Best of luck to the neighbors to the north

The Panthers have a lot of new kids in new or different roles including Shoemaker. Growing pains are to be expected. I do however believe they have some kids with ability and fully expect them to improve as these kids mature and adjust to thier roles.

Very well said and I totally agree.

Can't say you're wrong. Bracken has been fortunate for him to be healthy most of his career. Loss of Hamilton no doubt would have filled that spot. His loss hurts.
