November 20, 20169 yr Maybe the first time in BGP history we have 2 NKU game threads. Maybe more people will realize they have a pretty good team and come and watch. Especially considering 10 of the 13 players are freshman and sophomores.

November 21, 20169 yr Awesome showing by the Norse in Oxford. This team is better than most people think. They have the talent to play at the Horizon league level, they're just incredibly young this season. Moving in the right direction and doing so quickly.

They aren't going to get football and I think the basketball in the Horizen league is every bit as good as the MAC.There would be little to no benefit for them to go from Horizon to MAC. I know it's early, but so far this year, the Horizon is ranked above the MAC. Last year the MAC was better but not by enough to long for a change. NCAA College Basketball RPI Rankings (updated today)

BTW I still stand behind my contention that Carson is strictly a 4. No perimeter game. No handle. No outside shot. Really nice moves down low when he receives the ball from 10 in.
