He looked good playing against South Laurel yesterday.

Kelly will be fine. Has a knack to score the ball and is fearless. He'll certainly give up some size, strength, and maybe some quickness at times, but he is a really nice talent. Should be a great experience for him when he gets his opportunities.

I am also told Jon Hensley may see some time. Big, strong freshman.

Will this be SKs year?? A good amount of talent to work with!

I believe Hensley played some Saturday to. Niece is pretty tall for a 8th grader at least 6'0.

Good for Kelly he seems like a real good kid and handles himself well on the court. It's awesome he gets the opportunity!

A 6'9 kid in the state of KY and only averaged 12 8? That's not impressive at all lol.

It is pretty good considering he didnt start every game and was a 6'7 skinny kid. This year he is 6'9 and put on 20 pounds and is built like a man.

Still, a 6'9 kid is a "big man" in KY hoops. You should expect bigger numbers from a 6'9 kid. Once again, not impressive.

The stats are from last year when he was a sophomore and wasn't 6'9". Not sure what you dont understand about that. How many other sophomores averaged double digits in scoring and almost double digits in rebounds?

He should have a great Junior year.

Funny that people say that a 6'7, sophomore averaging 12/8 is unimpressive. I wouldn't say it's "elite", necessarily, but no one claimed that, and I can name 40-50 schools right now who'd love to start the season with a 6'9, 220lb junior, who averaged 12/8 as a sophomore. Sky is the limit for Kelch. Good kid. Leader. Hope he does well!

Being able to judge a kid by numbers alone is a talent.
