I have a PBR question....

 

How do you interpret the ranking section on a players card? For example, if it says “State” 24 Rank / 3 POS. What does that mean….

It means the player is 24th best overall of players rated and the 3 would be the 3rd best in his position of the players rated by PBR

So the 24 includes players from all positions? Also, both ranks are where the player stands against others in his graduating class only, right?

Yes, This is correct

I wouldn't put to much thought into the rankings. The important thing is that they record their times and speeds and have a video on them. I'm not sure about all of the age groups, but the one particular one that I watch... the rankings are apparently done by a team coach in that age group. Nearly all of his players are in the top 20. lol. It's not hard to guess which team does the rankings and runs most of the showcases.... go to a showcase and look at what hat everyone is wearing. It's a useful program but diffidently flawed.
