November 8, 20169 yr Corn Flakes was another that tasted like its packaging. Those other two you posted are before my time. Couldn't tell you Jim, I never ate the packaging. :lol2: All I know is growing up, we ate what we were told and there were a lot of corn flakes because they were cheap when Mom was low on funds for groceries. Still liked them with sliced bananas.
November 13, 20169 yr Corn Flakes, Cheerios, and Raisin Bran. However, those were considered treats. We didn't have a lot of discretionary money for stuff like that. I'm not saying we ate bad. In fact, we ate really well. However, for the most part, if it wasn't from the farm, we didn't eat it. I generally ate leftovers from the night before. When there were none, I got a sliced wedge of cornbread with butter and jelly on it or milk gravy. Sometimes we got peedlum (cornbread mush).
November 13, 20169 yr Count Chocula every day of the week and twice on Sunday. It's the best cereal on the planet. Followed by Fruity Pebbles. Sadly, milk and I get along less as I've aged. Drop the mic and walk away. This thread is over. Never go wrong with the Count. Ummmm...yes. like me some Count Chocula as well. Haven't had any in quite a while though, might have to change that. Picked up a couple of boxes today. Count Chocula is the best! I hate that they are only sold during a small part of the year. I buy 5 boxes at a time since the sell out so quickly.
