Why would BGP members discredit a high school talents and achievements because they don't fit into your personal narrative of NKY football.

Best would be Jacob Chisolm and then Casey McGinnis.

Totally neutral observation....most people throw out 4.5 without really knowing how fast that is. Handtiming can and very often is off significantly. College coaches at camps have many motives in their announced times, and total accuracey might not be tops on their list. Knowing that, when a supporter touts a certain 4.5 it brings into question all the other observations being made. Suffice it to conclusively observe, the young man is very quick for his size and has a mix of strength and mobility that makes him one of the top RBs in NKy. Not to take anything away from this young man, but is it fair to conclude he is viewed as a better defensive recruit candidate, than as a running back?

I can't vouch for his 40 time, but I think he is the fastest RB I have seen this year. I have seen every back being talked about in this thread. My only knock on Barnes is he runs a little straight up and soft for his size and power. He will blow you up on defense but he doesn't run the ball with the same power. He is more of a finesse runner and he doesn't break as many tackles as I would expect from him.

He ran the ball at least 14 times in the NCC game according to @lawnboy game updates, more than any other player on Holy Cross. Not taking anything away from Barnes, because he's a beast. But don't discredit the Newcath defense by saying he barely played any offense. Newcath defense was solid that game.

Durham from Lloyd and Kelly are just as good as the HC backs.
