Well, if he is only touching the ball 11 times in a game, that is a mistake. A kid like that needs to get all the touches he can. I digress. Back to the point, he would be the first running back I would take to field my team.

Barnes splits carries with Abernathy... With Abernathy getting more carries as of late due to the fact he's almost fully recovered from the ACL/MCL injury.

 

The QB went out with a concussion early in the 2nd qtr.

I just watched the game and Barnes is in the game at RB in the 4th qtr and is not hurt with 2 mins left in the game. HC people love making excuses.

Derrick Barnes is the best running back, linebacker, and athlete. Big, fast, and humble. Would start for any team in NKY

He doesnt run a 4.5 everyone throws that number out there. I have seen him play twice and would put him in top 5. But not head and shoulders about anyone.

He ran a 4.5 at the Ohio state camp and 4.7 at the Nike opening laser time
