Schools that share fields, how is soccer and football practice scheduled?

Soccer may touch the turf when football is not within a mile of the field. Otherwise they must sit and beg.

Scott used to have separate fields for football and soccer that were right next to each other. I really like when schools have a field specifically for soccer because that means it is often a grass field. Soccer is much better on grass.

Highlands is the only one of those that has their own football field so that's why the schools you list are on the list.

Other than Highlands which schools that have a football team have a separate soccer field?

Uhhhh... that wasn't the original question. But in the 9th Region I guess it would be NCC and Holy Cross. Or are you asking a different question? I honestly can't tell if you are being rhetorical or obtuse.

Brossart has neither fields of their own. The football team plays at the old Campbell Co. high school (grass) and the soccer team uses a field at Pendery Park which is a public facility.

Scott High School still has the soccer only grass field in front of the football/mix use turf field, named after the young man who passed away practicing on the field.

Beechwood now has a turf soccer/baseball field separate from their football stadium. I was told it was new for this soccer season.

At Dixie Heights, there is a "grass" practice field next to the turf football/soccer field that is used by all the teams when they need to practice and they do not have the turf scheduled. The grass baseball outfield has also been used by soccer as well.

Boone Co has a shared field. It is grass.

The football team practices on the baseball diamond (actually in the grass in the outfield). The boys' soccer team practices at Boone Woods park. The girls' soccer team practices at the Boone County Pee Wee Football field. It is turf.

The marching band practices in the parking lot.

Everyone works it out as best possible. Share as share can.
