I don't think he will pout but making a change breaks up the chemistry that is producing wins. Right now the Cowboys feel they can beat anyone and they are. As Crash Davis once said...you never mess with a winning streak.
October 11, 20169 yr I think you stay with Dak if you truly open the playbook up to him. If he can prove to have the downfield threat that is a huge part of Dallas's offense with Tony Romo, then you can play him over Romo. Dallas has to at least give him the opportunity to prove himself before they make any decisions. Dallas can't win a Super Bowl with this offense they are currently running. Eventually they will run into someone who can stop it. Dallas can win a Super Bowl with the offense they ran 2 years ago with Demarco Murray and a fully healthy Romo. Ezekiel Elliott is already better than Demarco Murray was and the defense is better now too. Obviously Dak has played virtually perfect so far, but as he keeps playing they need to continue to show more wrinkles in the playbook and if Dallas doesn't feel like he is capable of this, then I think they go back to Romo.
October 11, 20169 yr Why is everyone concerned about a downfield threat? The Cowboys are 4-1 and on track to make the playoffs. I don't care if they throw a downfield pass all season if they finish 12-4 or better.
