Nicholas County has posted a couple nice wins the past two weeks that have them in position for an undefeated season. Berea has scored one touchdown in six games. Is there anything Berea can do to challenge Nicholas County in this game?

Bluejackets JV will probably get a lot of action in this one.

Berea has only scored six points on the season while allowing 292. I have a good friend who played at Berea in the late-90s and is concerned that the program might not last. They won't beat Nicholas County, but here's hoping they can get things turned around.

Has Berea practiced their coin toss celebration? That's about the only thing they have a chance of winning all year.

Any chance ever that Aaron Stepp goes back there? I know he won some games there.

The last time Nicholas Co was undefeated this far into the season, so was Berea. It was the 1999 season and Berea vs. Nicholas was the WLEXTV game of the week. Hope Berea can keep things together and see some success in the future but hope, and don't think, that starts this week!

I don't know the specific challenges at Berea, but the right coach can turn around a program. Two 1A schools that have experienced turnarounds to success in recent years are Paris and Brossart. Both of those programs had the same concerns that the program might be shut down and both those teams have had some very good seasons recently.
