Defensively, Ashland and Greenup both get to the ball well. I think the winner of the game will be the team that finds its offensive identity.

Ashland is at Greenup. Last season at home 0-0 going into half and Greenup throws a long pass instead of taking the tie and Baker INT 85 yard return TD to end half. Congrats Rams thought this would be a lot closer score.

Who is better? Greenup County or Ashland?

Defensively I might give a slight edge to Greenup, but Ashland I think has more offensive threats in terms of individuals like Coburn. Also, It's hard to be definitive because I feel like Raceland should have scored more in both games but didn't because of mistakes. Right now I give a slight edge to the Cats.

Great performance by the Rams. They appear to have taken the next step this year. Davidson's throwing the ball extremely well. Their overall depth and balance on offense will make them hard for anyone to handle.

 

Walker is carrying the running game so far. It would be nice to see a complimentary back step up to help shoulder the load a bit.
