Gallatin scores final 15 points of the game to win.

I was shocked by this score,especially considering Gallatin had lost fairly easy to a 2nd year football program(Switzerland,Ind) that Bracken had beaten the week before by 34. I had this one as a Bracken win.

Anyone go to this game with details and stats for both teams?

Bears had over 200 yards rushing...seems like they're not getting it done on defense. Not the greatest of timing with Harlan coming to town, who's put up 95 points their first two games.

Either way as an outsider, I like the upside of this Bracken team. It seems like the coaching staff has started to build something and even though they lost this past week, the program is starting to be much much much more competitive instead of being blown out each week.

 

How is the feeder system for the Polar Bears coming along for anyone in that area? I feel like the feeder program is where you build your high school teams and those younger teams should be running similar offensive and defensive schemes as the older teams so they will know what is expected of them once they get to the high school ranks.

 

Both programs will be better in future years. These two teams are still fairly newer-ish programs and being will small number to pull from in the student body, it will take time to establish a consistent winner.

I feel Bracken will regroup on an early Saturday afternoon game and get a surprise win at home. This game was close last year in Harlan. BC comes at you in waves in their rushing game. They may have a hard time stopping Harlan, but think they will just simply out offense them(so to speak). BC 27 Harlan 24

Good win for Gallatin after terrible loss at Switzerland Co. Their OL dominated the game and defense was able to get stops when they needed them. RB Dustin Johnson had 201 yards rushing.
