It's still early in the season and while there has been some movement in the top ten, none of the top ten teams have showed that they should be on the outside looking out, yet. There has also been some shuffling in the 11-15 range and there are several teams chomping at the bit to work their way into the rankings.

 

North Bullitt is knocking on the door, but so are a few other teams including Madison Southern and Bullitt Central. Doss and Dixie Heights are also working their way into the discussion, while last weeks top contender to move up (North Laurel) suffered a head scratching 55-0 loss to a great Wayne County team. Losing to a 4A #3 team isn't head scratching, but the final score sure was.

 

So what are your thoughts, which team currently not in the top ten is most likely to finish the season in the top ten?

Right now I'm voting North Bullitt, but upon watching Graves Co in district play, I may change my mind.

Just wanted to bump this one up since we are now past the halfway point in the season. Dixie Heights and Madison Southern have proved that they are solid teams that are just outside the top ten. Who else?

I still think North Bullitt is the most interesting one of the team mentioned. Their only loss is at 4A (4-2) Shelby County. Not a great loss honestly, but not the worst either. Toughest teams left on their schedule are Bullitt East and South Oldham. I think they can beat Bullitt East, but not South Oldham. But for the #10 spot, maybe...

Bullitt East is the best team in Bullitt County IMO. The offense is putting up incredible numbers against decent competition. The defense is playing better and better every week. If those trends continue then BE could potentially run the table...

The Bullitt East vs. North Bullitt game is a tossup. A must see game if you live in that area.
