What is your strategy on Brady?

What do ya'll have as a strategy on Brady? When are you looking to draft him? Are you looking to him as potential trade bait?

 

Last night in a 12 team league, I landed Bortles in the 8th round. Brady was there in the 9th, so I said screw it and took him too. Hoping Bortles plays really well and I can trade one of the two with another player of mine for a nice RB or something.

My strategy on him is if he's there in round 4, I'm taking him. May be a bit biased, but whomever else you get as your backup will be more than serviceable the first four games IMO.

If he's there in the 5th or 6th I'd give him a look. Other wise I think you can get plenty of value at QB other places.

If that's when ya'll are taking him, looks like I got a steal in the 9th round. Really hoping that him and Bortles are both top 5 QBs like last year.

Last year we drafted before his suspension was lifted and I got him as a great value. Most of the mock drafting I have been doing is computer simulated and he has been going 4th-6th round. I am a draft a QB late guy, so I will not pull trigger until after round 8. If he is there I would jump all over him with the intention of him being my guy and streaming the first three weeks. We don't trade much in any of my leagues, especially with so many serviceable QBs. I think you got a great deal in the 9th and I hope he falls that far in one of my leagues.

He went in the 5th round (72nd pick overall) of my league.

Had the 11th pick in a 12 team league last night. Was able to nab Brady with the 2nd to last pick in round 5 (59th overall).

From what I've been reading, I think that is right around his ADP.

I would take him in rounds 4-6 in a heartbeat.
