This was a close game until the 4th quarter when Breathitt pulled away.

This game was much closer than the final. At one point late in the 3rd, Southern had the chance to tie it at 13, but missed the extra point. You could see the wind deflate from their sails. BTW--Beckham Herald from Breathitt Co. is an absolute stud, he was all over the field tonight. I was very impressed.

sorry, didn't see this was already a thread please combine.

Mad. southern's field was beautiful tonight.

It's great to get in early from the local game I took in and jump on this site and see that many of the teams I like won tonight and this one so far has put the biggest smile on my old face.

No surprise here, I thought Madison Southern would struggle in this one.

Good to see Breathitt doing well...will be hearing big things from them...

Breathitt played a very average game tonight. They seem to be making alot of mental errors on defense and on offense. I do however see a big difference in the skill level of our players this year. I see this team greatly improving as the year goes on. Right now we are in a learning process for all of our skilled positions. With the loss of only 4 seniors this year and the fact that we are playing mostly freshmen and sophmores, the future does look bright for these young bobcats.

Glad to see Coach Hogans has got the boys from Breathiit back.

Congrat to Breahitt Co. on the win tonight. Looks like Southern is in for a long season. Where they hit hard by graduations last year?

Hit Very hard by graduation.

Glad to see Breathitt improving. The Fugate kid is coming into his own as a quarterback and Beckham Herald will not be flying under the radar much longer.
