I'll take good stories... uplifting stories ... every day, all day, instead of the negative stuff we are constantly bombarded with.

 

I talked to a guy who is a veteran TV news anchor that lives locally and when I mentioned this to him he agreed but then he said those stories don't "sell" though. He said believe it or not, folks want to hear about and see "train wrecks". Damn shame.

Oh, I don't disagree. People do like to share in train wrecks. It is a damn shame, but, you know, those people are also probably living pretty sad, unfulfilled lives. Life's too short. I say be happy and make others happy while you can.
