ColonelCrazy Posted July 22, 2016 Author Posted July 22, 2016 Report: Le’Veon Bell faces four-game suspension, currently appealing | ProFootballTalk Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell facing four-game ban for missed drug test
TheDeuce Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 This is because we play the Pats early and Brady will be out.. SMH Goodell.
UKMustangFan Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 This is because we play the Pats early and Brady will be out.. SMH Goodell. Brady will be back in week 5....You don't play New England until week 7.
plantmanky Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Was he going to be ready to go for the season anyways?
TheDeuce Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Brady will be back in week 5....You don't play New England until week 7. I thought it was earlier than that. Well, still! :lol2:
lawildcat Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 How many games would he have been suspended had he taken the drug test and failed?
plantmanky Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 How many games would he have been suspended had he taken the drug test and failed? I believe 4.
UKMustangFan Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 How many games would he have been suspended had he taken the drug test and failed? Nevermind....Just looked at it, and it would be his 2nd offense. That's 4-6 games.
TheDeuce Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Do we as fans really care if these guys smoke weed in the off-season? Why should the NFL care?
ColonelCrazy Posted July 22, 2016 Author Posted July 22, 2016 Nevermind....Just looked at it, and it would be his 2nd offense. That's 4-6 games. I know he was suspended last year following an August 2014 arrest for DUI & possession of marijuana. He was suspended 3 games, appealed & it was reduced to 2, I think. Not sure if he's been suspended another time or not.
ColonelCrazy Posted July 22, 2016 Author Posted July 22, 2016 Do we as fans really care if these guys smoke weed in the off-season? Why should the NFL care? Marijuana isn't the only drug tested...
ColonelCrazy Posted July 22, 2016 Author Posted July 22, 2016 You hate not being at full strength, but this may help the Steelers in the long run. By all accounts, D'Angelo Williams will be healthy (we know his mouth is, at least). The Pittsburgh offense relied so heavily on Bell, that "resting" him for a couple games early may help keep him fresh when November/December rolls around.
spindoc Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Well maybe there's a reason for the missed test. Maybe he's not guilty. Maybe he's not an idiot
