July 5, 201610 yr The most fascinating part to me was the scientific discussion about what your eye processes i.e. actually sees vs what you think it sees. The ball actually disappears briefly. Your brain makes an early calculation as to where you think the ball will be. It is the answer as to why the perception is that some pitchers have a fastball that rises even though that's scientifically impossible.
