Will KD eventually return to OKC?

Featured Replies

I have no doubt in my mind that KD will make a return within the next 1-4 years. I think he'll get homesick and wan't redemption like Lebron. If KD is willing to leave OKC, I think he'd be willing to go back. That's my prediction. What do you guys think?

Lebron had a roster just waiting for a superstar to make it a title contender. OKC is going to have a lot of work and luck to make that happen. He will not be back within the next 1-4 years.

No chance! People need to realize that James didn't go back to the Cavs just because he wanted to go back home. He only went back to the Cavs because it gave him the best chance to win. They already had Irving, he knew they could trade Wiggins for Love and surround him the players he wanted.

He went to the Heat because they gave him the best chance to win. He went back to the Cavs because they gave him the best chance to win over an aging Heat team. Make no mistake if Irving wasn't there, and opportunity to get Love then no chance does James go back to the Cavs.

It was a feel good story and all and people act like he went home just because. But the reality is him going back home actually was a better chance to win than staying with the Heat. I don't see the Thunder giving Durant a good chance to win again if he left them now when they were already in contention.

The Thunder, without Durant is wayyyyy better than the Heat in 2010 and the Cavs in 2013. So yeah.

No, he won't be going back to OKC. The LeBron thing was a one time deal. If he goes back to OKC it will be at the very end of his career but I doubt even then it happens.

No. Westbrook isn't going to be there. Why in the world would Durant return?

Homesick? Do you mean he'll want to go to the Wizards?

Or Seattle? Oh wait...

Seriously, I see him going to the Wizards before back to the Thunder. The Lebron comparison is off as Cleveland is essentially Lebron's hometown. Durant doesn't have ties like that to OKC.

The only chance he goes back if Westbrook is there still or somehow another star goes there. Lebron James didn't go back to Cleveland just because it's home. The main reason he went back was because going to the Cavs gave him a better chance to win that staying with the aging Heat. The thunder after next year probably will be bad for awhile. Their best best is trade Westbrook now and tank this season so they can try to get a new young star.

That's the thing Lebron didn't go back because it's his hometown. He went back because it gave him a better chance to win than staying with the Heat. Him going back was a feel good story and all. But you can bet he never would have went back if Irving was not there and knowing they could trade for Love.

He will end his career I believe with his hometown Wizards, but fill he may make stops along the way to the Lakers or Knicks after 2 years in Golden State
