Bob Ross: Beauty is Everywhere/Joy of Painting

Featured Replies

I'm not kidding at all. I've watched a couple of episodes, and this stuff is almost therapeutic.

Highly recommend watching after a stressful day.

Thrillville,

do you think that you could create something worthy of placing on you wall, following Bob's lead. I always loved watching Bob Ross, but I don't think I would have the skill to follow along.

This show is better than NyQuil, have loved it for years, Just so calm and relaxing

I have a good friend that has taught his self to paint in Bob style...sold about 30 paintings this past winter.

I put Bob on when I found him on Netflix to see what my 15 yo would say. We ended up watching 4 episodes before we knew it. She was mesmerized. :lol2:

They're all on NetFlix these days, from what I've read. Sounds like some good hangover therapy. I do love me some little happy trees.

With that in mind — and I'm not suggesting Mr. Ross ever engaged in such things — but how weird would it be to find out years after the fact that he was some sadistic violence junky or wife-beater? I would be more shocked about that than I was about Tiger Woods.

"That's a crooked tree. We'll send him to Washington".

My favorite Bob Ross quote.
