June 21, 201610 yr Author So I posted the old truck up for sale on facebook. What an experience it has been. Everything from offers without looking at the truck to people upset because I responded to someone else's post first. Oh well 3 people looking at the truck tonight.
June 22, 201610 yr And the first buyer said yes to the dress. So what did you take for the truck? Had a buddy just visit tonight with a 25 year old Toyota that was beat up, welded together, flatbed and no turn signals. Paid $2,300. Yours was sooooo much nicer.
June 22, 201610 yr I traded a car about 10 years ago in and at the time couldn't find the spare key, I had the dealership calling me 24 hours later telling me they needed the key ASAP, they must have flipped that thing pronto. We once traded a car at a local dealer for newer used car. Went to McDonalds for a bite to eat and remembered we left a kids toy (stuffed animal) in the rear seat. Went back to the dealership 20 minutes later. Asked to get the stuffed animal and were told sorry...The car was sold. Couple on the lot saw us trade it in and they bought it before the motor even got cold! True story. We had to go buy another stuffed animal!

I traded in a truck on a new car once and had buyer's remorse and backed out within the 3 days of the contract. It took them a week to get my truck back because they had shipped it to an auction house.
