Josh Lifson 6' 4" 218 TE Kentucky Country Day got his first D1 offer last weekend from Tennessee Tech and has interest from Wake Forest and Duke. Another 1A kid to look for this season.

Drew had a very good camp IMO at Old Dominion last week. Liked what I saw.

Kyle Hurt, linebacker at Mayfield will make some noise this year, a little on the small side for a linebacker, but tuff as nails and has a nose for the football. I predict he will have and awesome year.

I'm not saying AJ Mayer from Covington Catholic is anywhere in the top 10. I am saying the kid has a chance to be a QB college prospect. 6'3 and getting strong. Had a solid SOPH year where he got better as the year went on. Still needs to work on accuracy but that can be fixed with footwork and mechanics.

 

I concur with this. His ceiling is very high.

It is tough to say when there is an unknown at the QB position, but Posey at Highlands has had a very good summer so far. He could be one to watch once the Birds hit their offensive stride.

Jacob Darnell, Bullitt East, 6'4" 285lbs FB/ DE. He was 1st team All District OL as a freshman, then had an injury plagued Sophomore year. They have apparently completely changed their offense with the new coaching staff. It looks like he will be someone to watch this year.
