Slusher draws a two out walk. Runners on 1 and 2. Two down. Rowe at the plate. Birds 5-0z

Slusher catches a 4 yard TD pass..

 

So Beechwood scored?

Rowe lines a sharp single into right scoring Stringer, but is tagged out trying to advance on the throw to the plate. Heady play by the Birds catcher.

 

Highlands 5, Beechwood 1

Bowden flies out to short left. Three up, three down.

 

Birds 5, Tigers 1 - Bottom 4

Combs fouls out to catcher to start the bottom of the fourth.

Fieger hasn't performed well in big games through the years for the Tigers. Lot of hype .
