Really surprised that WWE went with Jericho vs Big Cass for the main event instead of the 6 man elimination tag match between The Family and Bullitt Club.

Yes, but I am fine with it. Probably hoping to give Cass a bit of a push with Enzo still out.

And it didn't even last long

I have Raw on my DVR and I am only about half way through it but it tells me Enzo and Cass are in for a big push.

 

It is also nice to see that Big Cass can hold his own on the mic. Enzo obviously is a special talent.

If he comes up with some new material, Enzo might be special talent. For the most part, he parrots the same schtick every time. He is entertaining though considering I thought he and Big Cass were goofballs when I first saw them.

I do agree Creative needs to give Enzo more to work with. The right feud will do the trick and I think a feud with New Day would be perfect. Those cats are great on the mic.

The Roman Reigns/AJ Styles feud has produced a terrific storyline & some great matches.

Styles is a great wrestler.

 

The Gallows and Anderson goons are a nice addition.

Another thing I like about the whole Styles/Reigns feud is the WWE is forcing Roman as a face on the fans. The Club (is that what they are called) is definitely the heels and Roman has been spending a lot of time with definite faces the Usos.

 

Real interesting dynamics.

I thought the main event was one of the worst of all time on Raw.

 

1. I can't stand Jericho. I appreciate what he can do at this age but his act is old, way old.

 

2. The Jericho/Ambrose feud is putting Ambrose out of character. Ambrose has had a consistent character since I started watching WWE again and this feud paints him as somewhat of a heel too. Ambrose isn't the kind of guy that does much cheap shotting.

 

3. Big Cass didn't get to wrestle.

 

4. If I was Big Cass my issue is with Ambrose now. Ambrose took his spotlight. I haven't watched Smackdown yet but I would like to see some sort of feud between Big Cass and his peeps and Ambrose and his peeps. Or if not, I lose a little creative respect for the WWE. It made Cass look weak.
