Trump - No Need for Republican Unity

Trump says no need for Republican unity

Remarks release prior to air on one of the Sunday political shows.

Trump seems like he is going to try and remake the GOP into a centrist party. He openly states that he will attract a lot of DEM voters. I tend to agree with him, but is he moving the party too far left? I agree that the establishment needs to be crushed, but is this too high a price?

Good thing there's no need, because he's not likely to get it.

True. Why should those elected to represent the people actually listen to the people?

This is happening on both sides of the aisle and needs to stop.

No, it's not happening on both sides of the aisle. Don't confuse a highly contested Democratic primary with lack of unity. Sanders has already stated that if he's not the nominee, there's no way he would ever back Trump. On the other hand, the split between the Ryan wing of the GOP and Trump is real. Ryan stands for established conservative principles. Trump's positions change weekly.

Sure it has been happening in both sides of the aisle, for years.

The he majority of Americans opposed the ACA, including Dems. They were ignored.

Excellent news!

Although you never know where your career path will take you. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in psychology back in the day. Started out as a shift worker at a halfway house operated by the local comp care center. Wound up in the business office and retired as the comptroller of said comp care center.
