That very well may be true as you must know the program better than I do. I'm not saying they won't make a run I'm disagreeing when it comes to pitching your ace against the regional favorite this early in the season. Still yet, I'm hearing pitching, pitching, pitching, with the offesnive firepower GC has showed so far it's going to take runs and very solid defense behind these pitchers to pull off the upset. Greenup's defense will come around as it always does by as far as now pitching & hitting have been very good so far. Young arms & Postseason don't always mix either.

Just Don't see Rowan and West that high up. East doesn't have a big staff , but there #1 he`s a Lefty is not bad at all, Plus they can field and hit. Rowan and West both are not good hitting or Fielding teams. 1 pitcher can only do so much... Russell can score , pitching ? .. Should be fun come Region time. GC plays Lewis , haven't seen them. With Prater coaching Rowan they will get better, good coach.

ANYTHING can happen in a one loss and done District or Region Game....Usually takes 2 maybe 3 above average pitchers to win a Reginal Tourney.....all it takes to lose is a couple errors, a few BB, and a good opposing pitcher IMO

I was at the the Rowan West game a couple of weeks ago on a Monday in Morehead and I left when both starters were removed from the game and the game was scoreless, so neither got the win. It's going to take am ace and lot of other stuff flukey for GC to lose IMO.

Planck MIGHT get drafted in rounds 5-10 but it all depends on how signable he is. An organization is not going to waste a round 5-10 pick on a HS kid if he is set on going to school. But if Planck lets it be known he will sign if the money is right, I would think he has a shot to go pretty high.

5-10 is no joke, Yes the money drops off fast , after first few rounds. But my thinking is if your 5-10 out of High School , Go to school and if you do your thing, than you jump up to 1-4, witch is better money.. With so many Rounds and player`s , the money starts to drop fast.. That said , If I was drafted 5-10 it would be hard not to take it. Fully understand !
