Jacob Tamme Writes About High School and College Football Experiences

Featured Replies

Neat article indeed.

Tamme took a Murfreesboro, TN family "under his wing" this past winter when the son suffered a devastating brain injury during a high school game: took the siblings and the father to a Falcons game (where they upset Carolina) and gave them jerseys and such. Even visited them at the Shepherd Center hospital in Atlanta.

That was great. Thanks for sharing that!

I think one of the best qualities about Jacob Tamme is how down to earth he is. You can count on seeing him at a basketball game or two when the NFL season concludes. He is ALWAYS willing to support anything at Boyle County when asked. IMO he is the most revered athlete in Boyle County and a lot of that has to do with just how good of a person he is. Extremely personable. Great family from his parents and siblings and on over to his wife and in laws. All of them are high quality people. I've been in Boyle County since 1998 and Jacob Tamme is one of maybe five athletes from our area that EVERYONE only has good things to say about. For a small town that loves gossip, that's saying a ton. Boyle County is very very proud of Jacob Tamme and he continues to give us all reason to be very very proud of him.
