This is What's Wrong with Baseball

Depends on who you ask.

I do think it's stupid if you come out and announce your intent publicly.

...and I thought you were around for Teddy Roosevelt...you are a youngster if you were only around for FDR:)

If it's ok for a pitcher to throw a baseball at a batters head at 90 mph, why can't the batter beat his butt with the bat?

Royals Plan to Seek Revenge Against Mets for WS Brushback

This is just downright pathetic. You got your payback, you won the damn series. Grow up and get over yourselves. I would hope the commissioner would step in and issue MAJOR punishments if they do anything.

No issue with it on my end but I find it hard to believe it'll happen in the Opening Series.

I wouldn't say this is what's wrong with baseball but I see no issue if KC retaliated in the WS. I do think doing it now is just stupid and for attention.

MLB is a dying sport.

It is for me. I was a huge MLB fan until the '94 strike cancelled the World Series. I haven't watched very many games since, and if I do it's usually a post season game.

Pre-1994 some friends and I would drive the 6 hour round trip from my eastern Kentucky home to watch the Reds 5 or 6 times a season. Nowadays I don't even watch them on TV.
