Dunbar 55 Newport Central Catholic 47 (Sweet 16 Semifinals)

What a great game!

Probably a little more physical than NCC would have liked, but the whistles, as always, seem to be blown less the deeper we get in to March.

I know he was in foul trouble, but very surprised at the lack of touches by Weyer in the 4th.

He played away from the basket a lot. Is that how he's been utilized all year or was it just the game plan?

The difference in this one was Dunbar turning up the pressure in the 3rd quarter. NewCath had an incredible run. Ben Weyer was an absolute pleasure to watch the last 4 seasons...I'll definitely have to catch a few Bellarmine games with him and Brent Bach in the lineup. Best of luck to the Bulldogs later today.

As you would expect at this level of the tourney, nothing came easy. Great game and good luck to Dunbar in the finals. Both teams have to be exhausted in the finals.

Its really sad that some of the Cov Cath boys are really embarrassing themselves on twitter for all to see. :( Glad the New Cath boys are reacting with class.

From the few times I've seen NCC play, that is how they use him
