Kansas player slams the ball to the floor

Featured Replies

Lucas, a Kansas player just slammed the ball to the floor out of frustration due to a jump ball call. No technical, no mention that he did anything wrong. Does this sound familiar at all?

It should and shouldn't at the same time. A UK player (Humphries) was given a T for doing the same thing recently, but it wasn't out of frustration, it was out of excitement. Some say he was wrong, some say that he was within the rules, due to the way the rules are written. I get that and it's the ref's call, but for the ref's to miss this one and the media to not even mention it, show's how bad and even how bias ref's can be in today's game.

Not sure why the media would report this one when they seemed to think the T on Humphries was not warranted. What would they say, "refs make right call"? No interest in that.

I wish the like button was working.

Did he catch the ball?

Nope. Didn't even attempt to.

Your right about the media, nothing to say to help themselves. The ref's on the other hand.....

Should have been a T.

If there was a tiny bit of consistency in officiating it would have been, no question.

They report controversy, or what they think will create some. I'd say it should've been mentioned.

I know some folks aren't a fan but if Jay Bilas is doing the game I bet he makes mention of it. He and Seth Davis typically call it how it is. I like Jay more.

Agree and Jay is by far my favorite.

It's a conspiracy...

No doubt. Otherwise why would a UK player be given a T for a less aggressive action.. :idunno:

Some UK fans struggle with it but I love the guy. Think he tells it how it is. I'm ok with someone not blowing sun shine my way.
