3 Single A Schools and SK; wow! I've only been following 8th since SK joined but haven't seen anything like this. No Anderson, Shelby and not a single Oldham. Has to be first time in a long time.

Big Friday semi-finals: Trimble vs. Walton-Verona 6:30 pm (broadcast begins at 6:15 pm) - Trimble's size vs. Hailey Ison. Trimble will have to play better than they did in edging Gallatin; Shelbe Black cannot go scoreless and foul out if Trimble is to win this one. If W-V gets TC into foul trouble, could be a long night for the Lady Raiders, who are thin on the bench....and besides, W-V has shown they can hit the FTs, going 25 of 31 in round 1 vs. Anderson.

 

8 pm - Owen County vs. #15 Simon Kenton If Owen commits 26 turnovers like they did against Oldham County in round 1, this one will be over quick. On the other hand, if Clifton and Gamble can get going on the inside against SK, she could keep the Lady Rebels in the game. Owen looks to have the edge on the inside, but the Lady Rebels will have to play four quarters and avoid the turnovers to have a shot. SK looks to have simply too many weapons on offense otherwise....
