Final. Running clock. Mismatch. Statement game for the Lady Royals at The Fieldhouse.

And thanks for the shout-out to BGP when mentioning the Lady Royals' state ranking on the radio.:thumb:

Ok, not a statement game...if it is/was then you are comparing to wrong team(s).Mismatch....yes. Brossart missing senior PG and 1st Team All-Region C...outcome may not have been different. Mason is very talented and if they get out of the regional, then they have the team to make a run. Very nice team and they are young. They are fun to watch.

Unfortunately for the Lady Stangs, they have been forced to try to re-invent themselves since the loss of two key starters.

Against equally talented teams, or teams in which we are still superior, it has actually been going quite well. They are doing some neat things offensively and are making some adjustments defensively.

Our vulnerability surfaces when we play better teams. Obviously, Friday was one of those nights and the results show.

Congratulations to our friend Brad Cox, who is having a super season with his young, talented Royals. We look forward to seeing them in Alexandria for the regional in a couple of weeks, and at the BB&C Center for the state tournament in March.

Is there a chance the two Broussart girls make it back this season?

I guess the other tenth region teams shouldn't even show up to the region tournament then. Lol

Nope

Sorry to hear that. Hate it anytime kids lose their season to injuries.

Perhaps he meant as spectators:sneaky:

^^I do come off as putting the cart in front of the horse here.

No anointing of Brad and the Lady Royals as region champs intended - even though that is the way it reads. Moreso, wishing Brad and the Royals luck in achieving those accomplishments.
