SK came out firing on all cylinders in this one, as it was pretty much over from the start. Nice outside in game as Meier dominated the paint. Good ball movement and a monster number of 3's.

Schultz went out early with an injury. Not sure of the extent of the injury. Shannon had 12. Lady Stangs had 19 turnovers.

Niece is averaging 21.8 points a game, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3 steals a game having a great season!

What you say is true. Appeared to be a leg or ankle injury, saw her walking around after the game and appeared to be ok.. However, the score was something like 20-9 when she left the game. I like her as a player, but IMO it wouldn't have mattered tonight. SK starters only played about 2 1/2 Qtrs.

I was extremely impressed with SK tonight. They play well as a team and have a lot of weapons. Liked big-lady Meier who scored 15 tonight - all in the first half.

 

Brossart trying to re-invent ourselves, tried sophomore Ally Schultz (Emily's sister) at point guard tonight, in lieu of Senior Olivia Nienaber who had foot/ankle surgery this past Tuesday and is out for the season.

 

Sydney Shannon was the only real steady offensive force for the Lady Stangs on this night with 14 with Emily Schultz sidelined.
