Here are the results for this week's Northern Kentucky Regional basketball pick'em contest. Cumulative results will be posted in a day or so.

The NKY Contest is sponsored by Joe Lay & Sons Plumbing. Joe Lay & Sons are proud sponsors of all NKY high school basketball teams. For all of your plumbing needs please contact Joe Lay & Sons at:

As always, the results won't be final for 24 hours. All contestants should use that time to check their score for errors. After that time period has passed, the contest is final and the winner should use the following link to claim the prize of choice. If you think your score is incorrect, please send me a PM and I will look into your claim.

Results of the games in this week's contest:

Scott 87 Bracken County 80

Bourbon County 72 Model 60

Pendleton County 66 Harrison County 38

Montgomery County 63 Clark County 48

Dixie Heights 60 Conner 59

Three (my heart is aflutter) perfect scores of 18 in Week 7 (Week 6 was snowed out, so no points awarded). Consequently, we had to go to the first tiebreaker to determine a winner.

Congratulations to ballhog this week on the victory! And my apologies for the early confusion (Clark-Montgomery, not Clark-Mason). I sent PMs to all participants who entered prior to the clarification.

Here are the scores of this week's entries:

ballhog 18 (Scott, 87)

TAC 18 (Pendleton County, 66)

kygirl 18 (Dixie Heights, 60)

Again, please double-check your scores and let me know if there are any mistakes - especially in light of the early confusion. See you in Week 8!

I got a one. A One. So much for that comfortable lead in the overall.....

I do have some prestigious company.....

At least TAC lost.
