My first thought, as well.

Will not have any impact on the football program. The allegations are primarily against girls basketball and tract and field. Of the 32 violations, 5 minor football infractions, all older and not pertaining to the current coaching staff other than the Tunsil stuff that has already been dealt with by the NCAA. They are from the Houston Nutt days. It is not expected to have any impact on recruiting. The timing is unreal though as this weekend is the annual Ole Miss CROOTAPALOOZA '16 as Coach Freeze calls it. Twenty-four recruits including two five-stars and 15 four-stars, will begin arriving on Friday and Saturday ... and those are just the official visits. This may work in as a positive for Ole Miss though as Freeze will get the chance to explain it all in person and reassure potential signees

Ain't nothing gonna happen to the football team. Nobody is going to read something about women's basketball and the track team so I respect Forde for grinding for those page views.

Apparently a lot of coots realized it was no biggie either given the class that Ole Miss hauled in. The Rebs are here to stay as a upper elite SEC team. Few in KY seem to have made that connection yet

Why do you say that? Seems to me people have recognized their success. They just have the bad luck to be on the same side as Bama.

Bama has not been their problem, heck they own Bama of late but for the life of them they cant beat Arkansas. I think with Freeze being the local boy who has come home to his dream job is a huge plus in that he will stay at Ole Miss and not take off for bigger paydays. I still get the feeling that most think they are a 1 hit wonder but maybe you are right and most see it differently
